In my principles of interpretation course, we have been learning to identify some of our presuppositions, the foundational beliefs we hold, consciously or unconsciously, that shape the way we perceive, act, and react to the world around us.
# There is a spiritual realm that is connected and in communication with the physical world in which we live.
# God exists and is continuously interacting in a personal way with his creation.
# In us is an immortal soul that will continue to exist even after our physical bodies have decayed.
# The greater the number of leaves one can crush during his or her bicycle commute to or from school, the more awesome that person is. Double points if the leave is crushed by both tires.
